Béton Ciré was founded in 2013 by Amélie Le Roux and Mario Faundez, who first met in Paris at the renowned Atelier Chardon Savard Fashion School in 1999.
Bringing together their shared love for traditional millinery and impeccable attention to detail, they came up with the concept for their halfway bonnet / halfway cap, a timeless piece of unisex head wear.
The duo's first collection is a direct reference to "miki breton", a traditional sailor hat frequently worn by french fishermen and commandos. Think: 1950's French, coastal bliss with a touch of Steve Zissou from Wes Anderson's the Life Aquatic, the Miki hat will add that extra something to any smart outfit.
Manufactured by craftsmen in France from breathable, sturdy cotton all hat models are finished with an adjustable leather strap at the back.
